Welcome to our new site.

Welcome to the home of the Paranormal Influenced Research Investigation Team (or P.I.R.I.T). We are a group of coworkers based out of Syracuse, NY with the same interest in seeking out proof that there is some form of existence beyond the current known state of being. We take a technical approach in establishing evidence.

Battle Island Inn 5/17/2009 ... My Experience

One of the most exciting times in my life thus far was to except an invitation to Battle Island Inn in Fulton, New York on May 17, 2009.
I consider myself open minded and the thought of witnessing unexplained phenomena was something I could not pass up. After meeting with the P.I.R.I.T. Team and owner of the Inn I was able to hear first hand not only her experiences, but those of her married daughter.
We divided ourselves into two teams. Lots of pictures were taken, but NEW batteries became an obvious issue, lasting only a few minutes before they died. I found this odd and my question would be WHY this happened?! We toured the house so that I would have a better understanding of the layout and where the owner and her daughter had actual experiences. Everything appeared normal with my Team they took many different readings, recordings, pictures, etc. with each room we entered. It was not until we hooked-up with the other half of the Team did we learn that they had experienced a Question and Answer session which involved a flashlight. We then decided to join our Teams and try to reenact that experience. To my amazement the questions we asked were answered via a flashlight, no matter what we did could the flashlight be turned on other then physically turning it on ourselves. One flash for NO, two flashes for YES. Both yes and no questions were answered for all of us to witness, how could this be possible?! During this time I along with the entire Team heard distinct and obvious foot steps in the adjoining bathroom, and trust me they were not of our doing as we were all sitting on a heavily carpeted floor. What impressed me the most was how the P.I.R.I.T. Team tried to disprove what we saw and heard.
I for one am thoroughly convinced that what I saw and heard is not something that can be explained, but am convinced that it lends creditability to what the owner has experienced since living in and running the Inn. That yes, her experiences were real and not all explainable.
Thanks to all of you for allowing me to experience something profoundly unexplainable and for your professional approach for the TRUTH.
Sincerely Grateful for the Experience, Cool Chill
