The main problem with the old site was a consistency thing. Since it was all completely had coded, I would have to go and update EVERY page one by one so that they all looked the same. A good example was the news updates. Just to add one update took me about 30 mins to do and I would often forget to add the update to a couple pages.

Features in another thing, there are features I can easily add into the page that would have taken me forever to integrate into the old page. The Poll option is a good example, There was no way I could have put that up on the old site.

After I get the look of this site updated things will be MUCH better. It was more of an administrative thing that I decided to do this. Especially since we are starting up for the season again. I'll be working on this thing all day for the most part and should start to look good by the end of the day. There is still a lot that needs to be moved over.

Oh! and the vodcast played a big role in the switch, this platform will allow for easy update of the page to make us RSS compliant on having people easily watch us on a regular basis.
